Ibi Zoboi

Ibi Zoboi was born in Haiti, and holds an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her writing has been published in The New York Times Book Review, and The Rumpus, among others. She is the author of American Street, a US National Book Award finalist. Salomey Doku

Salomey Doku is a self-taught author-illustrator from Leeds. Originally trained in architecture, she started watercolour painting in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the art of storytelling. When she is not drawing, she is either daydreaming, going on long walks, at church, or talking to her pet hedgehog Strawberry. Brielle & Bear is her first graphic novel.

Sarah Wishart

Sarah Harris is an author and freelance education journalist. She is also the author of the award-winning, The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder, which was a Richard and Judy pick, and One Ordinary Day At A Time. Four Good Liars is her debut YA thriller. She grew up in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, and studied English at Nottingham University before gaining a post-graduate diploma in journalism at Cardiff University.

Megan Davidhizar

Megan Davidhizar grew up moving around the American Midwest. She now spends her mornings wishing she liked coffee, her days learning from the students in her English classroom, and her evenings reading stories to her three children while her husband tries to convince them the movies are better.

Leanne Egan

Leon Egan (he/they) is a trans author from Liverpool. Shortly after graduating from an MA in Publishing, the world fell apart, so mostly he’s just been getting a lot of writing done. Leon is the writer and producer of scripted fiction podcast Tell No Tales and their debut YA novel Lover Birds published in 2024.
