Caitlin Devlin

Caitlin Devlin studied English and Creative Writing at Warwick University before graduating to work in music and theatre journalism. As a teenager, she started writing novels as Christmas presents for her younger sister and brother. Her work has been recognised by competitions such as the Iggy Litro Young Writers award, the Flash500 short story competition, the Exeter Writers short story competition and, in the music world, by the UK Song Writing Contest. She is also a performed playwright. A Song I Wrote for Charlotte is her YA debut.

Ellen Ryan

Ellen Ryan is a journalist and contributor to the Irish Times and Irish Independent. She has a passion for Irish myth and loves to visit archaeological sites (though she always brings a raincoat). Along with her husband and daughter, Ellen is lucky to live by the sea in Co. Wicklow, where she can keep an eye out for sea gods.

Elle Hughes

Elle Hughes lives with a man and a dog in a forest on an island. A Promise Bound in Mist is her first novel for young adults, inspired by her love of epic romances and wild nature.

Kate O’Shaughnessy

Kate O’Shaughnessy is the award-winning author of middle grade novels THE WRONG WAY HOME, LASAGNA MEANS I LOVE YOU, and THE LONELY HEART OF MAYBELLE LANE, and the forthcoming BRITTLE MAGIC (Knopf). Her books have won numerous distinctions and awards, including a Newbery Honor, the Northern California Book Award, and the Vermont State Book Award. Her work has been nominated for over thirty state award reading lists and recognized on best-of lists by places and publications such as the New York Public Library, Bank Street College of Education, Booklist, and Kirkus Reviews. When she’s not writing, Kate can be found attempting to grow vegetables in her container garden, hiking in the woods with her dog, and chronically mispronouncing words. She lives in California with her family.

Katie Abdou

Katie Abdou was born and raised in coastal Massachusetts, where she cultivated a love of history, the occult, and piracy. She aims for her writing to be a place for teens and young adults to find representation and explore trauma, hardship, romance, and adventure within the safety of fiction.

Katie is a writer, a costumer, a hiker. a baker, a winemaker, and, most importantly, the Best Auntie in the World. She lives in Massachusetts with her four fuzzy wee dragons (who are blissfully unaware they’re actually cats). A Prince Among Pirates is her debut novel.
